About Bill Mock
An avid student of photography for most of my life, I carry my camera bag with me both on international trips and for everyday activities. In my work, I am always looking to capture those beautiful and intriguing moments that surround us all the time, but which we so often tend to overlook in the face of everyday temporal pressures. Thanks, Steven. Yes, I shot three or four photos of this scene in rapid succession, and none of the others have the same combination of colors and mist that this one has. As Kipling wrote, "the sun comes up like thunder" in this part of the world.

Well captured and cmoposed; the slight rose in the left, captured subtly on the water, and the mist at the edge of the water create a nice atmosphere--and sense of time, as this scene must surely have changed in minutes. The foreground plant life is great touch.
