Water Lilies at Dawn

Thanks, Steven. Yes, I shot three or four photos of this scene in rapid succession, and none of the others have the same combination of colors and mist that this one has. As Kipling wrote, "the sun comes up like thunder" in this part of the world.

Well captured and cmoposed; the slight rose in the left, captured subtly on the water, and the mist at the edge of the water create a nice atmosphere--and sense of time, as this scene must surely have changed in minutes. The foreground plant life is great touch.
